Robert Downey Jr. says no to iron man 4!

No Iron Man 4, Says Robert Downey Jr.

We all kind of knew this, but Robert Downey Jr. confirmed to Variety that there are no plans for an Iron Man 4. So whatever dates are still left unclaimed on Marvel’s schedule, none of them are going to be taken up with another RDJ solo flick.

Here’s what he said when he was asked about it:

“There isn’t one in the pipe,” Downey said. “No, there’s no plan for a fourth ‘Iron Man.”

On the other hand, he dodged the question of “letting” someone else take the role of Tony Stark, saying, “I like that the idea is that it would be up to me, like I’m casting director for Marvel.”

So the question remains if Downey’s appearance in Avengers 3 will actually be his last outing. On the one had, Downey has previously expressed a reluctance to give up the role to anyone else, saying that what he needed was some agreement between himself and the studio on where to go. On the other hand, it seems more likely that he’ll bow out, given how tough the last round of negotiations were. And how long Downey will have been in that role once that third Avengers movie comes out.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 May Not be Chris Evans’ Last Marvel Film After All

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/540f1c7ae4b09367d5f65f1d/1410276496854/captain-america-3-may-not-be-chris-evans-last-marvel-film-after-all?format=750w
There’s been a lot of talk about Chris Evans being done portraying Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America after Captain America 3. The actor sparked this discussion himself when he said that he’s going to take a break from acting when his contract with Marvel is done and take up directing. The Russo brothers also recently said that Captain America 3 will wrap up the Steve Rogers storyline.

But, it doesn’t sound like Evans is ready to give up the shield just yet. In a recent interview with MTV, the actor was asked about Captain America 3 being his last outing as the superhero, to which he replied:

“Who’s handing off the shield? Don’t take my job from me prematurely dude. I’m sure it’ll happen at some point, all good things have to come to an end. But I’m really happy playing the character.”

That doesn’t sound like a guy ready move on from the Marvel universe to me. It sounds like there’s a good chance he could stick around for at least another film or two after Cap 3. Maybe they won’t be solo films, but I think he’ll be back. He then goes on to talk about what he loves about the Marvel cinematic universe saying:

“It’s this giant web of plot, where everything is connected to everything else… that’s the beautiful thing and especially for the fanboys who understand these plotlines. With Cap 3, we’re going to continue this excitement… Marvel doesn’t disappoint. Whatever you’re hoping for, you’re probably going to get.”

I think evans really does a great job  he really stepped up for the role and the second movie was awesome!  so i cant wait for  a 3rd! and so on!  what  do u think of evans as captain america!

23 JUMP STREET Moves Into Development

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/540f7a84e4b0bc67f00d76a3/1410300550129/23-jump-street-moves-into-development?format=750wThe last movie ended with Ice Cube‘s Captain Dickson saying to Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum‘s Schmidt and Jenko, “You two sons of bitches are going to medical school!” The film then teased more than twenty funny, faux sequels.Deadline reports that Rodney Rothman (22 Jump Street) will return to write the script. There’s no word on whether it will actually take place in medical school, but why in the hell wouldn’t they use that as a starting point!? That could be great!

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be overseeing the script development, but there’s no word on if they will come back to direct it or not. I hope they do because they know exactly how to handle this franchise.

I know the image above is for the fake 25 Jump Street movie, but they didn’t have one for 23.

I am not a real fan of the movies,  i loved the tv show growing up!   the movies are ok   I  dont like the fact that they made it  more into a joke!  plus i felt the  2 movies  were exactly  alike!  what are your thoughts on a  3rd film?

The new Batmobile from ‘Batman v. Superman’

https://i2.wp.com/cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/229/files/2013/08/batman_vs_superman.jpg?resize=482%2C323Zack Snyder gave us a gritty, black-and-white glimpse of the new Batmobile back in May, and now, thanks to some people on Instagram who happen to be near the shoot, we’re now starting to get a good look at the entire vehicle. The new photos show Batman v. Superman‘s Batmobile parked against the side of the road — where it’s clearly a lot bigger than the average car. It looks like it’s been covered in dirt, but you can still get a good look at the vehicle’s general outline and questionable approach to aerodynamics. Perhaps most notable are the Batmobile’s doors, which open upward, almost like wings.batmobile3batmobile1  batmobile2This post was updated with an official  photo from the studio!  Check it out!  It looks  pretty crazy!batsmobilethese look great t he movie is really starting to come together!  what do u think of the new batmobile!  i have  always been  a fan of the tumbler  but  this  is  looking pretty snappy! Supergirl TV Series in the Works

Greg Berlanti Headshot - H 2014

Supergirl could soon join Arrow and The Flash and a number of other DC heroes on the small screen.

Warner Bros. Television is teaming with Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler to adapt the popular DC Comics hero for a potential TV series, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Adler, who worked with Berlanti on ABC’s superhero dramedy No Ordinary Family, will pen is expected to pen the script, with Berlanti on board to produce via his WBTV-based Berlanti Productions banner. DC’s Geoff Johns is also expected to have a role in the Supergirl project, which is in the early stages of development and expected to be taken out to networks soon. Johns exec produces Arrow and The Flash.

Also unclear is if it will be an hour or half-hour as well as a potential title for the project, which is based on the DC Comics character created by Otto Binder and designed by artist Al Plastino in 1959. She first appeared in Action Comics as a female counterpart to Superman. Adler and Berlanti’s take is expected to be a new interpretation of the character and her story. Sources tell THR that the project will not be called Supergirl.

The Supergirl entry comes as comic book adaptations are poised to have a major presence on the upcoming fall schedule. In addition to Berlanti’s CW series Arrow, he has spinoff The Flash at the network. Both hail from WBTV and DC Entertainment, which also are behind Fox’s Batman/Jim Gordon prequel Gotham, NBC’s Hellblazer take Constantine and The CW’s iZombie adaptation. On the Marvel side, ABC has Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter.

For its part, WBTV and The CW also took two stabs at bringing DC’s Wonder Woman to the small screen with a 2012 origin story coming a year after NBC passed on its David E. Kelley take on the iconic female hero.

Berlanti, meanwhile, already has one sale this development season. He’s prepping Blindspot, a naked amnesiac drama for NBC, expanding his relationship with the network behind his adaptation of fall drama The Mysteries of Laura. Adler’s credits include Glee and NBC’s The New Normal.

Margot Robbie in Talks for GHOST IN THE SHELL Movie

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/5407e459e4b0cb374f51b102/1409803353945/ghost-in-the-shell-movie-to-star-margot-robbie?format=1000w

The Wolf Of Wall Street‘s female lead, Margot Robbie, is in talks to star in in the live-action big screen adaptation of the Japanese anime Ghost In The Shell. Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is currently attached to direct the film for DreamWorks from a script written by Bill WheelerSnow White and the Huntsman looked great visually, and I’m sure he’ll bring some visual awesomeness to Ghost in the Shell. But let’s wait and see how he tells the story, because he failed in that aspect with Snow White.

The story follows the exploits of a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime. If you haven’t seen the anime yet, you really need to watch it to really appreciate the greatness of the story.

Robbie was great in The Wolf of Wall Street, and on top of her acting talent she is absolutely beautiful. Throw some dark hair on her, and I could totally see her doing in the role of Motoko. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if they change that name for American audiences. Robbie would be an awesome choice though, and I hope things work out with her.

This is going to be an American made film. I understand that there are a ton of very talented Japanese actresses out there that could take on this role, but the studio is already looking to cast a white woman in the part. This is just how Hollywood works, and I think Robbie is a solid choice under the circumstances.

Arrow Finds Its Ra’s al Ghul in Actor Matthew Nable, Plus a New Trailer for Season 3

ra's matt

Despite Liam Neeson saying last week he would reprise the role of Ra’s al Ghul “in a heartbeat,” The CW has announced (via star Stephen Amell) that the leader of the League of Assassins will be played by actor Matthew Nable. It was revealed back at the San Diego Comic-Con that the character would be the primary antagonist in the upcoming third season of “Arrow,” and now we have a face for the name.

A former professional rugby player, Nable has appeared in a number of television shows internationally but also the 2011 action thriller Killer Elite as well as alongside Vin Diesel in 2013?s Riddick.

Though he has been mentioned in a number of episodes in the last season of “Arrow,” the third season will mark his official debut on the series where he will be going toe-to-toe with Oliver Queen. The character has appeared in countless comics over the years, as well as the Christopher Nolan Batman films and the most recent “Arkham” titles.

In addition, a new trailer for the upcoming third season of the series has debuted online, which you can check out below.

Also starring Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, “Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 P.M. ET/PT on The CW with the new season set to premiere on October 8.

AMC Orders Pilot for The Walking Dead Companion Series!

AMC Orders Pilot for The Walking Dead Companion Series!

AMC announced today that it has ordered a pilot episode of a companion series for “The Walking Dead.” “The Walking Dead,” which premiered on AMC in October, 2010, has been the #1 program on television among adults 18-49 for the last two years. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert from “The Walking Dead” are also executive producers of the new project which, like the original, is being produced by AMC Studios. Dave Erickson (“Marco Polo,” “Sons of Anarchy”), who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, will serve as an executive producer and showrunner.

“Almost from the beginning of ‘The Walking Dead’ on AMC, fans have been curious about what is going on in the zombie apocalypse in other parts of the world. In fact, beyond requests for zombie cameos, it’s the question I get asked the most,” said AMC President Charlie Collier. “Obviously, we all take our stewardship of the original franchise incredibly seriously and we, along with Robert, Gale, David and now Dave, are all proceeding with extreme care in order to ensure that we are offering fans something truly compelling, engaging and distinct. We’re thrilled to be taking this next step with these remarkable partners.”

“There are many corners of ‘The Walking Dead’ universe that remain unseen in the shadows. Being given the opportunity to shine a light into those corners and see what lurks out there is an absolute thrill. I know the fans are anxious to hear what Dave and I have been cooking up for this new universe of ‘The Walking Dead,’ and I’m happy to be one step closer to sharing it with them,” said Kirkman.

“I’ve been fortunate to have collaborated with both Robert and AMC on past projects and I’m thrilled to join them again, along with Gale and David, to build upon ‘The Walking Dead’s’ already epic narrative,” said Erickson.

The pilot is scheduled for production in late 2014. No additional details are being provided about the location and/or casting for the pilot at this time.

The highly-anticipated fifth season of “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on October 12. “The Walking Dead” is based on the comic book series created and written by Robert Kirkman and published by Skybound, Kirkman’s imprint at Image Comics.
