Here’s some more Star Wars: Episode VII information from Badass Digest that you might be interested in reading. This is the site that gave us some interesting story information on the film last weekend. This following bit of news might be considered a spoiler for some, but I don’t think it is. If you don’t want to know anything about the movie, though, then you shouldn’t have clicked on the link!

The information reveals some information on the character that Game of Thrones‘ Gwendoline Christie plays in the J.J. Abrams directed film.

According to inside sources, she will be playing John Boyega‘s commanding imperial officer in story. Apparently, she’s pissed off that he deserted, so she has gone on a mission to hunt him down.

The site goes on to say that the actress has been seen training with a lightsaber. So is she a Sith as well as an Imperial Officer? We can only hope so! She would make a great Sith.

The report goes on to speculate that she was cast in the role that Benedict Cumberbatch was in talks for and that they just switched the character’s gender. There’s no solid confirmation on that, but it makes sense if they did.

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to visit the set of J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars: Episode VII. It would be a dream come true. Unfortunately, my life isn’t a Disney movie, so I’m not expecting to be invited to the set anytime soon. Kevin Smith got an invite though, and it was such a powerful experience for him that he actually cried. He posted a picture of his tearful expression on Instagram. I won’t lie, I’d probably be overcome with emotion like that as well. In fact, just seeing Smith’s expression even hit me a little bit.

Smith is a longtime fan of the franchise and has he’s in some way incorporated Star Wars into most of his films since Clerks. This was obviously an amazingly overwhelming experience for him. What a lucky bastard. This is what the filmmaker had to say with the photo above:

“Visited JJ and his EP VII set. I signed the NDA so all I can share are this old Bantha-Tracks subscriber’s tears and snotty nose of joy. The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith…”

What are your thoughts  if  visiting the  set makes smith emotional then that might mean we  are in for  some  real ass kicking moments!

Another Star Wars: Episode VII rumor has surfaced that is pretty interesting. The Daily Mail is reporting that Carrie Fisher‘s daughter, Billie Lourd, will make an appearance in the movie as a young Princess Leia. If this is true, it means we’re going to see some flashback scenes in the highly anticipated film.

Apparently J.J. Abrams picked her for the role because “of their visual similarities.” I can see it a little bit, but she has no acting experience. This is all just a rumor right now. We are not reporting this as fact; the Daily Mail is though! This is just another one of those news bits that seems to spark good conversation among fans.

I guess they are shooting for flashbacks  or  something   what  do you think?  this  could be  fun!  could that mean we  might see vader as well?

When we learned that Andy Serkis had been cast in Star Wars: Episode VII, many of us just assumed that he would be playing one of the many CGI characters that will be included in the movie. After all, he is the best and most well-known motion capture actor in the business. In a recent interview with Sci-Fi Now, Serkis confirmed that his company, The Imaginarium, will be doing all of the mo-cap work for the highly anticipated film. He then reveals that he will play a character in the story, but doesn’t confirm whether or not it will be a live action role or a digital character. Either way is cool with me. I’m sure no matter what he does it will be great. Here’s what he had to say in the interview:

“It’s extraordinary. I grew up with Star Wars and was a massive fan of the original films. I never imagined in a million years that I’d be engaging with this. It’s just come about so organically.

“J.J. Abrams and I met, and we just had this incredible kind of vibe between us. He said, ‘You’d fit really well in this universe,’ and I said, ‘I think I probably could.’ We’re working very closely, as I say, in two ways: the Imaginarium is providing all of the performance characters, and I myself am playing a character in it.

“I’m thrilled, deeply excited. Sitting at that read-through the other day was just extraordinary. It was an amazing event; being with the original cast was just incredible. I just think the script is so wonderful, and both the old and the newbies in the cast are just so thrilled and excited to get together.”

This actor  normally  does  all the  captures for alot of big films  so its no surprise that they have used him for star wars as well!  what are your thoughts on this?

It looks like there’s a chance that Tom Cruise could make a cameo appearance in J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars: Episode VII. The rumor originated from Mirror.co.uk, who says the actor was recently in London and that he’s met with Abrams and several other members of the production staff in regards to appearing in the continuing saga.

I have no idea if there’s any truth to this rumor or not, but it’s out there. You’ve got to remember that Cruise gave Abrams his big screen shot with Mission: Impossible III, which basically launched his filmmaking career. If Cruise wants to show make a brief appearance in the film, Abrams might just grant him that.

Not crazy about this,  but if abrams  thinks he can make a good addition then i say give it a shot!  As long as cruise is not jumping up and down on couches!
