Fox Is Rebooting THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN

20th Century Fox is looking to reboot the film adaptation of Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill’s graphic novel The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The original movie was released in 2003 and starred Sean Connery as Allan Quartermaine, but it turned out to be a dud. The original plan was to launch a film franchise based on the property, but it didn’t make enough money to warrant any sequels. A TV series was in development in 2013 with Green Lantern writer Michael Green on board as showrunner, and exec producer alongside Erwin Stoff. Fox made a put pilot commitment but the show was not ordered to series. Continue reading
