We’ve got some nice big SPOILER details regarding the Hulks fate in Joss Whedon‘s Avengers: Age of Ultron. If you don’t want to know what these details are then don’t read ahead. If you keep on reading don’t blame me for any spoilers contained in this article. I warned you!

Before I get into the details I will tell you that I have heard some of these same rumors from various sources, but was asked not to say anything. Now that they’re out in the open I guess it’s ok for me to spill them.

In a recent interview Mark Ruffalo did, the actor dismissed Planet Hulk as being a potential storyline for a solo Hulk film. I figured the actor was just saying those things to throw us off of what Marvel is actually planning. Of course, the actor and any other Marvel rep is going to debunk these rumors until they’re blue in the face, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t true.

Drew McWeeny from HitFix offers up some really interesting details that will either make Marvel Comics fans happy or angry. If this is true, which I believe it is, the studio will be making some more changes in the Marvel cinematic universe that won’t really follow the comics. I’m completely ok with that by the way! These changes are something we should all expect by now. This is what he says about the Hulk’s role in the Avengers sequel and where it will lead him:

“Bruce Banner continues to play a key role in things in [Avengers: Age of Ultron] and when the final war with Ultron spills onto the battlefield and out of the virtual realm, he has a major part to play. Unfortunately, that ends with him onboard a Quinjet on his way off the planet, with no way to immediately turn things around. He’s going to have to ride out the trip. It’s pre-programmed and he can’t stop it.”

McWeeney goes on to speculate that the Quinjet is most likely headed to wherever the Guardians of the Galaxy team is located. If this is true, there’s a good chance that Hulk will obviously be a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel that is already in development. McWeeny goes on to explain that we’ll most likely see elements of the Planet Hulk storyline in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

“I suspect we’ll see some sequences that very much feel like they’re part of the Planet Hulk story, but the larger story will be about the Guardians finding a way to get Banner home, only to end up going with them.”

I assumed that would be the case, which is still really cool. This would most likely lead Thanos to earth, and take us right into The Avengers 3. This will allow Marvel to utilize the Hulk and build on his story without giving him a solo film yet. I just think it’s awesome that they are finding ways to include him more in the universe!

I know it seems like a given that the Avengers would have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con to promote Age of Ultron. But you have to remember that the whole cast will be in London shooting the film while Comic-Con is happening, so there was a chance that they all wouldn’t be able to make it. Mark Ruffalo has some great news for the fans though! He recently confirmed in an interview with Collider that they will all be coming to Comic-Con! When asked about it, this is what he said:

“Yeah, we’re gonna go out there.  We’re all flying, we’re flying from London.  We’re working.  We’re shooting.  We’re gonna stop and get on a plane and go to Comic Con together. It’s gonna be amazing.”

It is going to be amazing, and you know damn well that they are going to show off the first footage from the film at the convention! I imagine that Paul Bettany (Vision), James Spader (Ultron), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver) will all join the usual suspects on the stage this year. I’ve also been hearing that Marvel will make some official announcements regarding other aspects of Phase 3. Ant-Man? Doctor Strange? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

This is truly an event that you’re not going to want to miss, and if you do miss it, it’s ok… we got your back and we’ll tell you all about it.

In the same interview, Ruffalo also discussed the standalone Hulk film we are all impatiently waiting for, and the technology being used to bring the character to life. He says he’d like to see it progress a little further before they tackle a new Hulk movie.

“We’re a little bit behind on the motion capture technology as far as facial recognition in real time.  Now we have, when I put on my motion capture suit, I look in front of me and there’s me as The Hulk.  There’s The Hulk.  Every move I make, The Hulk’s making it and so you have this immediate feedback like almost looking in a mirror, but instead of seeing myself, I see The Hulk …  But they haven’t come up to speed on the facial recognition that way.  They can capture the facial – the new technology is we can shoot the body recognition and the facial recognition at the same time, so now you can integrate performance, physical performance with the actual face and voice, but by the time we’re ready to probably – if we do another Hulk – that technology will be in real time and once that happens, there’d be no limit to what you can do creatively as far as your physical being is concerned.  I can play a freakin’ parasite in the ass of a worm [laughs].

“It’s so exciting.  There’s no limit to where we can go.  I hope to be a pioneer in this space with Andy Serkis.  I worked a lot with him on this.  I’m very excited by what he’s doing.  We are retraining the studio to see this as integral a part as the first unit.  This is not second or third unit or motion capture unit.  This is first unit.  This is performance.  It’s completely driven by the actor and it has to be honored as much as anything else, so that’s kind of where we’re heading with this technology and it’s very exciting.”

Director James Gunn recently confirmed that Nathan Fillion would be making a small cameo in Marvel’s sci-fi space adventure Guardians of the Galaxy. Thanks to Schmoes Know, we might know what that cameo will be. If you don’t want it spoiled for you then don’t read any further.

A lot of people thought that he would be playing Nova in the movie, but that isn’t the case at all. In fact, Gunn himself denied it saying that the rumors have been “greatly (and entirely) exaggerated.” The character he might be playing though is still really cool! Here’s what the site reports:

“According our very reliable source with intimate knowledge of this and the production has spoken exclusively to us about this and we here at Schmoes Know have our answer:

“Nathan Fillion will be voicing the part of Cosmo, the psychic Russian cosmonaut dog that has appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy comics.”

How freakin’ awesome is that?! For those of you who are not familiar with the character, here’s some info:

Cosmo is a telepathic Russian dog in the Marvel Comics universe. The character was created by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, first appeared in Nova vol. 4 #7. Within the context of the stories, Cosmo is the security chief of the spacestation Knowhere and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

This is perfect for Fillion, and it’s great to see that this character will be included in the film. Since it’s a voice role it also keeps Fillion open for actually appearing in any future Marvel movie installments, which I’m convinced will one day happen. In the mean time, I’ll be ecstatically happy that he’ll be providing the voice of Cosmo, the telepathic Russian dog.

Kelsey Grammer was introduced as Beast in the X-Men franchise in The Last Stand, and he made a very very brief appearance in Days of Future Past at the very end. Grammer revealed in an interview with Collider that he reached out to director Bryan Singer for a role in the last movie, and says that he hopes to do another one. Here’s what he had to say about reaching out to Singer:

“Actually I called Bryan, I bumped into Hugh Jackman and he said, ‘Oh you’re gonna be in another X-Men, mate!’ and I said, ‘No I’m not, I don’t know anything about it.’ So I made a couple of inquiries, got a hold of the script, found out that it’s primarily dealing with the past and that timeline I don’t have a place in, but I saw that at the end there was this coda where he made an appearance. I said, ‘Listen, I really want to be involved,’ so Bryan arranged for it and I had a lovely time.”

It’s pretty awesome to see thst Grammer wanted to be involved with the movie even if it wasn’t that big of a part. Here’s what he had to say about his desire to reprise his role:

“I hope to do another. I hope they find some way to come up with a new story that involves Beast in my timeline.”

Grammer was pretty great in the  3rd x-men film  I didnt think he would fit in but turned out to make a good beast and it was great seeing him in days of future past,  would of liked to seen him more then a few seconds but still good to see him!  it would be great to see if he can be in more films!

Some new SPOILER filled information has surfaced for two high profile Marvel movies that I know most of you are looking forward to seeing, Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The folks over at JoBlo have reported details on story, villains, costumes, powers, and more. There’s a lot of great stuff here, but if you don’t want anything spoiled for you then I suggest you don’t read ahead. If your curiosity gets the better of you like it did me, then here ya go!

Ant-Man:

“Story begins with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) being a thief and single dad who has fallen on hard times and one day breaks into Hank Pym’s apartment and steals the Ant-Man suit.

“The main villain’s name is Darren Cross who, in the comics, runs Cross Technological Enterprises, a competitor company for Stark Industries and Oscorp. His cousin is the villain known as Crossfire. It’s unknown if this role will be played by Patrick Wilson or Corey Stoll. He will have a suit with a similar feel to Ant-man’s but more miltary style, yellow and black in color, and with a tendril-looking apparatus coming off it’s back (like with Agent Venom). It’s to note that in the comics Cross looks more like a pink Hulk, so there may well be some merging of attributes from other characters for this role or multiple villains at that.

“The Ant-Man suit will be much more elaborate than we’ve seen so far with the helmet being able to open and close much like Iron Man and an assortment of red lights all over the suit, again in Tron fashion. The helmet eyes will also glow red when closed. It’s said to be a much more complex and futuristic suit than we’ve seen so far.

“Ants (the actual insect) are the main ally and superpower for Ant-Man in the film. Lang will speak to the ants via his helmet, just as in the comics, which is said to be a special element to the overall story.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron:

“According to Kevin Feige, the new Avengers Tower is the largest ever for a Marvel film, featuring a large landing platform and garage for the new Quinjet within a large space that is full of windows, screens, and ‘techno stuff’ but ‘really chic’ with a lab directly in the middle where Stark and Banner work together.

“The Quinjet redesign features more chairs to accommodate all Avengers, much like the X-Men’s Blackbird. The overall design is less military and more sleek with a bigger array of weaponry.

“Black Widow’s costume update will feature not only the previously reported batons, but her suit is said to be more ‘Tron-style’ in nature with blue lights and electricity around the suit. Her enemies will now receive electric shocks or a ‘widow’s sting’ when she hits them, giving her more of a ‘superhero’ edge amongst her super-powered counterparts.

“As reported before, Ultron will be more than just a helmet, with his full face being articulated, including the mouth. All movements from James Spader’s face are used to bring more personality to the villain. The suit mock-up is reminiscent of the weapon that Agent Coulson used to shoot Loki in The Avengers, which was made from the parts of the defeated Destroyer in Thor. The suit is said to have a red firelight underneath, giving him a kind of ‘Balrog’ effect from LOTR.

“Ultron will have an army of drones that are similar in appearance to himself, minus the glowing red ‘energy’ effect.

“Similar to other reports, The Vision will be 100 percent Paul Bettany with his face and body all in metallic form, very shiny with gold, red, and green (as well as the yellow cape).”

Regardless of the director drama surrounding Ant-Man, I’m still really excited about the movie. If this information is true, I like where they are headed with it. As for Joss Whedon’s Age of Ultron, of course it’s going to be amazing!
