James McAvoy’s Professor X Finally Set To Go Bald In “Global” X-Men: Apocalypse

James McAvoy Bald

I don’t know if it’s my imagination but any reference to X-Men in the media of late has namedropped Simon Kinberg instead of his co-writer, co-producer and director Bryan Singer. It continues with James McAvoy’s new reference to the film in a chat with The Huffington Post. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Right now, McAvoy doesn’t seem to know much about X-Men: Apocalypse but he does tell us to expect the film to be global, which makes sense in light of the title. He also says that he thinks this is the film where he’ll finally have to go bald.

Whether or not Professor X will moult before the film, during the film or at the climax remains to be seen but we might just get answers to that and other, pressing X-issues soon. McAvoy says Kinberg has promised to tell him more in a “couple of weeks”, and so I think we can start to expect a lot more trivia to leak out through interviews as we go along.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release in May 2016, and will go into production in Montreal early next year. Kinberg’s not going anywhere, and neither is McAvoy, but we’re still waiting for confirmation that Singer is sticking around. I do hope so, for the sake of the film.

There’s a lot of new casting to be revealed too, not least that of the titular villain. Many months of X-gossip ahead, and I won’t pretend I’m not looking forward to it.

Andrew Garfield Says Spider-Man Is “Immaterial” to SINISTER SIX Movie

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/54107968e4b04642ac67e6c9/1410365803634/andrew-garfield-says-spider-man-is-immaterial-to-sinister-six-movie?format=750wCabin in the Woods co-writer and director Drew Goddard is hard at work developing the Sinister Six movie for Sony Pictures. The movie will bring together a team of villains who are going to put Spider-Man through even more hell than he’s already been through. You’d think they’d feel a little bad for killing the love of his life, and that maybe he’s already gone through enough, but nope.

Andrew Garfield is expected to return for at least one more movie… The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which comes out in 2018. But, I assumed he would have a place in the Sinister Six movie. After all, there needs to be some kind of hero in a movie full of villains, right?

While the actor was promoting his new movie 99 Homes, The Toronto Sun asked him about Spider-Man and the Sinister Six, and he gave an interesting answer:

“I know more than I’m allowed to say right now. I can say I’m really excited about Drew Goddard, who’s going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I’m involved in that or not is kind of immaterial.”

Immaterial? Really? It’s Spider-Man, it’s hard to believe that he may not be involved with this. I just don’t see how Spider-Man is immaterial to a Sinister Six movie. I don’t think there’s a comic book storyline out there with the Sinister Six that doesn’t include Spider-Man, so if this is the case maybe they are steering far away from the comics. The thing is, every good film needs a strong protagonist. If it’s not Spider-Man, who could it be?

Now this quote could also be interpreted another way, as well. While talking to our other writers about it, they point out that the actor could just be saying that the movie is going to be a good film no matter what, and that he may just be referring to himself as an actor being unimportant to how the film as a whole turns out, which makes sense

Robert Downey Jr. says no to iron man 4!

No Iron Man 4, Says Robert Downey Jr.

We all kind of knew this, but Robert Downey Jr. confirmed to Variety that there are no plans for an Iron Man 4. So whatever dates are still left unclaimed on Marvel’s schedule, none of them are going to be taken up with another RDJ solo flick.

Here’s what he said when he was asked about it:

“There isn’t one in the pipe,” Downey said. “No, there’s no plan for a fourth ‘Iron Man.”

On the other hand, he dodged the question of “letting” someone else take the role of Tony Stark, saying, “I like that the idea is that it would be up to me, like I’m casting director for Marvel.”

So the question remains if Downey’s appearance in Avengers 3 will actually be his last outing. On the one had, Downey has previously expressed a reluctance to give up the role to anyone else, saying that what he needed was some agreement between himself and the studio on where to go. On the other hand, it seems more likely that he’ll bow out, given how tough the last round of negotiations were. And how long Downey will have been in that role once that third Avengers movie comes out.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 May Not be Chris Evans’ Last Marvel Film After All

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/540f1c7ae4b09367d5f65f1d/1410276496854/captain-america-3-may-not-be-chris-evans-last-marvel-film-after-all?format=750w
There’s been a lot of talk about Chris Evans being done portraying Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America after Captain America 3. The actor sparked this discussion himself when he said that he’s going to take a break from acting when his contract with Marvel is done and take up directing. The Russo brothers also recently said that Captain America 3 will wrap up the Steve Rogers storyline.

But, it doesn’t sound like Evans is ready to give up the shield just yet. In a recent interview with MTV, the actor was asked about Captain America 3 being his last outing as the superhero, to which he replied:

“Who’s handing off the shield? Don’t take my job from me prematurely dude. I’m sure it’ll happen at some point, all good things have to come to an end. But I’m really happy playing the character.”

That doesn’t sound like a guy ready move on from the Marvel universe to me. It sounds like there’s a good chance he could stick around for at least another film or two after Cap 3. Maybe they won’t be solo films, but I think he’ll be back. He then goes on to talk about what he loves about the Marvel cinematic universe saying:

“It’s this giant web of plot, where everything is connected to everything else… that’s the beautiful thing and especially for the fanboys who understand these plotlines. With Cap 3, we’re going to continue this excitement… Marvel doesn’t disappoint. Whatever you’re hoping for, you’re probably going to get.”

I think evans really does a great job  he really stepped up for the role and the second movie was awesome!  so i cant wait for  a 3rd! and so on!  what  do u think of evans as captain america!

DONALD GLOVER Is Spider-Man/Miles Morales in Animated ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN

https://i2.wp.com/static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53fec624e4b0675e1770e68f/1409205796327/maxresdefault.jpg?resize=415%2C235

Donald Glover was a controversial fanboy pick to play Spider-Man, with the role ultimately going to Andrew Garfield. One day we’ll get a Miles Morales centered Spider-Man movie. I’m guessing it’s after Sony realizes people don’t want yet another Spider-Man origin story with Peter Parker. Glover finally gets his chance at being Spider-Man in the animated Ultimate Spider-Man.

The cartoon Miles is very close to the comic-book version: The 13-year-old is still getting used to being a superhero when he meets the dimension-hopping Peter (Drake Bell), who’s trying to stop his old nemesis the Green Goblin from collecting the DNA of various Spider-Men — from Spider-Man Noir to the porcine hero Spider-Ham— for nefarious reasons.

It’s an emotional moment for Miles, though, because in his world, Peter is dead.

Chloe Moretz Gives Up on Hit Girl for KICK-ASS 3

According to Hit Girl herself, Chloe Moretz, a Kick-Ass 3 movie isn’t going to happen. She has given up on the character she so awesomely portrayed, and the franchise that fans have enjoyed. She was asked about the movie in a recent interview with Digital Spy, and this was her reply:

“Sadly, I think I’m done with the character. Hit-Girl was a very cool character, but I don’t think there will be any more movies. You make these movies for the fanboys, but nowadays everyone seems to pirate them rather than watch them in the movie theatre. Kick-Ass 2 was one of the number one pirated movies of the year, but that doesn’t help us because we need box office figures. We need to prove to the distributors that we can make money from a third and a fourth movie – but because it didn’t do so well, we can’t make another one.”

Moretz violently sliced her way into the hearts of fanboys everywhere back in 2010, and it’s kind of a shame that we won’t see her play this amazingly awesome character again. It sucks that Kick-Ass 3 won’t get a movie adaptation, but at least we have the comic book.

Its a shame  i  personally loved the  2 films  i know  there are alot of people that did not  care for the second  film  but i thought it was awesome!  I do  hope  that there will be a  3rd film someday!

Chris Pratt Dresses Up as Star-Lord and Goes to Children’s Hospital

Chris Pratt previously admitted to taking his Star-Lord costume from the Guardians of the Galaxy set. His plan was to use the costume to bring some joy to the lives of kids who are in the hospital. Pratt doesn’t just talk the talk, but he walks the walk as well. He took what he said he would do and put it into action.

E! reports that Pratt coordinated an event with Marvel and Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to provide a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for an audience who may have not been able to see it due to their illnesses. They screened the film yesterday for the patients, families, and staff of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As you can see in the photos, Pratt also came out in-character to spend time with the kids afterwards as Star-Lord.

The photo above was released by the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and it shows the actor dressed up as Star-Lord and hanging out with the kids. He spent three hours, playing with the them, taking photos, signing autographs, and giving out movie-themed toys.

In the photo below Pratt is seen playing with Dylan “Lego Kid” Prunty whose Make-A-Wish wish was for a LEGO replica of the hospital, which can be seen in the background. Pratt reportedly reenacted scenes from The LEGO Movie with Prunty, and also signed some of Prunty’s prized swag.

It’s kind of hard not to get a little choked up as I write this. Pratt is truly a stand-up guy. http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53f638bae4b0f4d4f2eb34ef/1408645306612/?format=500w

It’s been a very long journey to get Marvel’s Ant-Man into production, but it has finally happened. After almost nine years of development and a little bit of drama, Ant-Man has started shooting! The movie is being directed by Peyton Reed, who replaced Edgar Wright after he walked off the project. Reed is the one who made the announcement on Twitter this morning, saying,

“Alright, gang. Today is the day. LET’S. GET. small.”

Hopefully Marvel and the team of people developing this movie will give the fans something that they will love and embrace. Here’s the synopsis of the movie:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

The film also stars Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, and David Dastmalchian. Ant-Man is scheduled for release on July 17th, 2015.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Soundtrack Is The #1 Album In America

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Soundtrack Is The #1 Album In America

It turns out Peter Quill’s mix-tape really is awesome. The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack — titled Awesome Mix Vol. 1 after Star-Lord’s beloved cassette of ’60s and ’70s hits — has reached #1 on the Billboard charts. This makes it the best-selling album in America. Madness.

According to The AV Club, the album sold over 100,000 copies last week alone, and is the first soundtrack to hit #1 while containing nothing but previously released music. Director James Gunn took a moment to gloat on his Facebook page, and since he was responsible for choosing the songs contained in the Awesome Mix, I’d say he has every right to do so. Ooga Chaka indeed.
