Here’s good news for that one person who still cares about the continuity of Michael Bay’s Transformers movies: after sitting out the fourth movie, Josh Duhamel is returning to reprise his role as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox in the newly-titled Transformers: The Last Knight.

After the flaming turd-pile that was Transformers: Age of Extinction, many folks swore online that they would never watch another Michael Bay-directed Transformers movie again. If a different director comes on board the franchise and puts a new spin on it, maybe the franchise will be given another chance. But at this point, is there any reason to punish yourself by watching two and a half hour pieces of garbage. The first one was OK. The second one was abysmal. The third one was passable. The fourth was unwatchable. That’s a decent enough batting average for a baseball player, but no so much for a movie franchise.
